Gateway High Under Lockdown, One Person Under Arrest

After deputies swept the premises of Gateway High, no physical threat was found.
One person has been taken into custody but police are still actively investigating, according to the Gateway High School Principal.
Parents are advised to be patient and follow all guidelines from the school and law enforcement to ensure a safe reunification.
Lee County deputies are responding to a current threat to Gateway High this morning, according to Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
A SWAT team is on scene responding after a threat was made via text message, according to NBC2.
At this time, a threat has not been located. Parents are being asked to stay away from the school so deputies can complete their safety sweeps.
