Bridgerton fans rejoice! Soon you’ll be able to binge the second season of Shondaland’s Regency-era period drama series.
The series’ powerful narrator Lady Whistledown wrote fans of Bridgerton a letter on Thursday afternoon about the impending second season. (See the full letter below)
“The ton are abuzz with the latest gossip and so it is my honor to impart to you Bridgerton shall officially return for a second season. I do hope you have stored a bottle of ratafia for this most delightful occasion,” she said.

Lady Whistledown did not provide a release date for season 2 but she did confirm what’s been speculated for weeks — season two will focus more on the eldest Bridgerton sibling, Anthony, as chronicled in the second book of Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton series, The Viscount Who Loved Me.
Production on season 2 begins this Spring 2021.
