15 People Infected With COVID-19 After Going To A Cat’s Birthday Party
What was supposed to be the pur-fect celebration turned out to be the complete opposite after 15 people contracted COVID-19 at a birthday party for a cat.
Local media in the exclusive coastal enclave of Santo Domingo, Chile reported that 10 people attended, all of whom became sick, according to the New York Post. The other five infected people are family and friends of the cat’s owner.
“When I heard it was a cat’s birthday party, I thought it was a joke — that they were probably trying to hide something,” Francisco Álvarez, the regional health secretary for Valparaíso, told Radio Bio-Bio.
The birthday cat did not contract coronavirus, the New York Post said.
