Jay-Z's recent business decisions have paid off handsomely. Since the rapper sold half of his Ace of Spades Champagne line to LVMH and struck a deal to sell some of his streaming service, his net worth has jumped 40 percent.

Per Forbes, Jay-Z is worth at least $1.4 billion. They estimated and broke down Hov's numbers like this:

He has roughly $425 million in cash and investments.
The Ace of Spaces deal gave him at least $320 million.
The streaming service deal got him around $297 million.
Roc Nation is priced at $140 million.
His cognac brand, D’Usse, is priced at $120 million.
His music catalog is about at $95 million.
His art collection is estimated to be $70 million.
His real estate property is priced around $50 million.
