The 2021 Hurricane Names List Is Very Meme-Able

The 21 names on this year's 2021 Hurricane Names List is out and the first thing I noticed, is how easy it's going to be to make the memes. I get it, hurricanes are serious, but we're in Florida. Making fun of the hurricanes is how we cope with them. I still have some broken roof tiles from Irma. Now, let's begin.

The first name on the list is Ana. Super easy - The movie "Frozen". The spelling is different, but close enough.

Up next is Bill. We could do the movie Kill Bill, President Bill Clinton, but the memes that will get the most response would be of Bill Cosby. Yeah, those are gonna be a little tasteless.

Claudette is next, followed by Danny. A Hurricane Danny Trejo would be terrifying.

Ok, now we're up to our second Frozen refence. Elsa is on the list. Whoever came up with the names clearly has kids. Fred is next. I'll be going with Fred Flintstone for this one. Then we have Grace and Henri. That's a French spelling so I guess it'll be pronounced ON REE.

Ida is next on the list. And then Julian. Julian Assange is that guy from Wikileaks. I think you'd have to explain those too often. Maybe this guy?

Then we have Kate. Easy. Kate Winslet Titanic.

Ok then. Larry, I'd go with a 3 Stooges reference. Then Mindy. Mindy Kaling? I'm not sure I can do a Mindy Kaling meme. I love her. She was my second favorite character on The Office.

Ok, the 2021 Hurricane Names List continues with Nicholas and Odette. Peter is after them. Suuuuper easy one there. Peter Griffin from Family Guy is so meme-able.

Ok, now Rose. Wait, like Rose from Titanic? We can reuse the Kate memes? Sam is next.

I saw Sam Elliot without a mustache once. It wasn't right. Kinda like one of those hairless cats. It's still a cat, but, I don't know.

Almost done. Teresa, Victor, and then finally, the most meme-able of all the hurricane names.

Expect to see a LOT of Wandavison references once this storm forms. I mean, there was a huge scene where she's basically creating a storm. Too easy. Great show btw.

So that's the end of the list. And listen, I'm no fan of hurricanes. I've been through several. The eye of Irma hit Estero, where I live. The whole "everything suddenly gets quiet". That happens. And when the next hurricane hits, once your family is safe - go out and volunteer. Help others. I lost a lot of trees during Irma, but that's nothing compared to what some dealt with. I went to Immokalee and worked with the Red Cross to assist people living in shelters.

Hurricanes are scary. Memes are funny. It's how Floridians cope.
