Florida man points gun at Starbuck’s employee over cream cheese
A 38-year-old Florida man named Omar Wright drew a gun on a Starbucks employee for not giving him cream cheese for his bagel.
The incident happened over the weekend in Miami Gardens, officials said. Wright returned to the drive-through window and began yelling at the employee, who just happened to be the Miami Gardens Police Chief’s daughter.
After being asked if he had paid for the cream cheese, Wright became infuriated and drew his gun out.
Wright was given the cream cheese and fled the scene.
Chief Delma Noel-Pratt says that her daughter is “traumatized” and “felt in fear for her life,” according to Associated Press.
Wright was arrested and charged with “aggravated assault with a firearm” and a number of other charges and is being held on $10,000 bond.
