Jacksonville Sheriff's OfficeA 54-year-old Florida woman is accused of poisoning her boyfriend's lemonade because he would not stop talking, according to First Coast News.
Alvis Parrish, of Jacksonville, is facing charges of poisoning food or water with intent to kill or injure.
Authorities were dispatched to a home on Susie Street in reference to a poisoning, according to an arrest report from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. Parrish was sitting on her front yard and started yelling at the deputies when they arrived.
When the deputies got closer Parrish said, "Yeah, I did it.... because he wouldn't shut the f*** up."
Once she was handcuffed she reportedly said "I gave him just enough to shut him up and called y'all, so he wouldn't die...do whatever you want but if you don't take me I will kill him."
Parrish allegedly spiked her boyfriend's lemonade with Seroquel. The couple had been together for about nine years.
The victim, who appeared extremely lethargic, was later taken to a nearby hospital.
