‘It’s Time!’ Mariah Carey Swaps Her Witch’s Hat For A Santa Suit

It's November 1 and you know what that means -- Mariah Carey is letting the world know that "It's Time!" The "Queen of Christmas" took to her social media accounts one minute after midnight on Tuesday to let fans know that they should start getting into the Christmas spirit. While pedaling on a stationary bike, Mariah was glammed up as a witch wearing a sexy leather outfit and heavy makeup as she serves face and stares into the approaching camera. Bats with calendar dates on them fly around and as November 1st approaches, Carey laughs a sinister laugh and glitter hits the screen unveiling a completely new look.

Wearing a Santa suit dress, Carey is now sitting on top of a reindeer surrounded in a Winter Wonderland. She shrieks, "It's tiiiime!" As she squeals in excitement with the snow falling around her, "All I Want For Christmas" plays in the background.

The singer teased the start of Christmas last month, posting a series of teaser tweets with her hit 1994 song. The 52-year-old singer began her thread with a picture of a bathtub with roses spelling out her initials “MC” and a glittering red gown draped over the tub steps. Carey simply captioned the image: “It’s almost time …”

The singer added two more tweets to the thread, with the second, captioned, “But …,” showing a short video of the singer in a bubble bath facing away from the camera. The back of her blonde head is shown and we hear a knock on the door in her chosen audio, then the jingle from “All I Want for Christmas is You” begins to play with a clock ticking in the background while Carey shakes her finger.

In the final tweet, captioned, “Not yet,” Carey is now facing the camera surrounded with bubbles and a big grin. Responding to a child’s voice asking, “We want to listen to ‘All I Want!'” Carey says “not yet” as she blows bubbles toward the camera. “Well, could we at least decorate the tree?” More knocking sounds are heard and Carey responds, “Not yet!” and splashes some bubbles toward the camera before turning back around.

Last November, the five-octave singer announced one minute after Halloween ended (again) to let fans know it was time to get into the holiday spirit. The singer posted a video walking out of her front door wielding a candy cane-striped baseball bat as a clock chimed. Three pumpkins outside are carved to read: “IT’S NOT TIME” but the pop icon smashes the middle “NOT” and “All I Want For Christmas Is You” begins playing.

Ever since Mariah Carey took to Twitter, she has been showing her fans what they've seen in interviews for decades. The icon has always been known for her rare set of vocals and now the "shade queen" of Twitter.
