Anna Faris has nothing bad to say about her ex-husband Chris Pratt and his marriage to Katherine Schwarzenegger. They got married a year after Farris and Pratt divorced. The Mom star was married to the Guardians of the Galaxy actor from 2009 to 2018, with the pair announcing they had split in a joint statement released in August 2017. The two share son Jack, 10.

“Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating. We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed,” the couple said in a statement. “Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another.”

Faris, 45, has been candid about her relationship breakdown in the past, saying she felt her "hand was forced" in going through with the divorce. Additionally, the comedic actress suggested that she went through with the marriage because “everyone [was] expecting it," adding that she “ignored” the warning signs ahead of their wedding.

In a new interview with People, she said that she is “getting closer” to Pratt, 43, and is “happy” with the way things have turned out. “We’re all getting much closer, and I so appreciate that,” Faris said. “They’re very protective of me, and I want to be very protective of them. I so appreciate their support."

She added, “It feels just much easier now that time has passed. It feels really good to not live with that internal churning of unpleasantness.” Now that they are on good terms, Faris foresees spending holidays together as an extended family. However, she does not see this upcoming Thanksgiving to be on the table, as "we just have family obligations that take us elsewhere."

Faris called Schwarzenegger “awesome” and that “She’s just on top of it. I love how she is with Jack.” Faris previously revealed that Jack was born prematurely and weighed just three pounds and 12 ounces at birth and spent his first month in the NICU. According to the publication, he was born with severe brain bleeding.

Her divorce from Pratt was finalized in 2018, and Pratt married Schwarzenegger the following year. Faris first met Pratt while playing a couple in the comedy film Take Me Home Tonight (2011). She is now married to cinematographer Michael Barratt, 52, whom she met while working on the 2018 film Overboard.

Chris Pratt took to Instagram this week in a seemingly "sweet" post to his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, but the Guardians of the Galaxy star couldn't help but note his daughter's great health.

"Guys. For real. Look how she’s looking at me! I mean. Find you somebody that looks at you like that!! You know!? We met in church," Pratt wrote. "She’s given me an amazing life, a gorgeous healthy daughter, she chews so loudly that sometimes i put in my ear buds to drown it out, but that’s love! She helps me with everything. In return, periodically, I open a jar of pickles. That’s the trade. Her heart is pure and it belongs to me. My greatest treasure right next to my Ken Griffey Jr Upper Deck Rookie card. Which if you know, you know is saying a lot. It’s her birthday in about 6 weeks. So if I don’t get her anything, I’ll tell her to look back on this post. Love you honey. ❤️❤️"

Cringe Post

Pratt's comment on having a "gorgeous healthy daughter," all while he shares a son with health issues with his ex-wife of nine years did not go unnoticed on social media:

The Real Political Divide

As one Twitter user said of Pratt's post, "The real political divide in America can be summed up whether u think this post from Chris Pratt comes off as a) sweet and normal or b) cringe and insane."

Find Someone Who Looks At You Like This

Taking a shot at Pratt's "Look how she's looking at me! I mean. Find somebody that looks at you like that!!," one Twitter user said Pratt can keep his "amazing wife and her Stepford wife stare. I'll focus on Anna Faris and her adoration for her beautiful boy."
