Adele is getting candid about her health as she enters into the latter half of her "Weekends with Adele" Las Vegas residency. The singer-songwriter told the audience during one of her recent shows that she is performing with a disintegrated disc in her spine.

Per People Magazine, Adele, 34, said, "Is anyone else kind of my age starting getting bad knees? I have got really bad sciatica in my left leg and my L5 disc is not f——— there anymore. It's worn away."

According to the Cleveland Clinic, nerves on the L5 vertebra provide sensation to the outer side of your lower leg, the upper part of your foot, and the space between your first and second toe. A compressed L5 vertebrae nerve, according to the Mayo Clinic Health System, leads to sciatica, which can bring physical pain, numbness, and weakness.

She previously addressed some of these symptoms during her New Year's Eve performance. The "Easy On Me Singer" told fans that she has to "waddle these days as I have really bad sciatica."

Back in September, she also told Elle that she "slipped her L6 in January 2021, when Angelo jumped out to scare her as she came out of the bathroom." Adele's son Angelo is 10 and she shares him with her ex-husband Simon Konecki, 48.

However, Adele's back issues go back to her teenage years. "I slipped my first disc when I was 15 from sneezing." By January 2021, "I slipped my sixth one, my L6. And then where I had a C‑section, my core was useless," she explained. Adele added that she had "been in pain" with her back for around half of her life. She notes that it would "flare up" when she was stressed or sitting with bad posture. But that changed when she started regularly working out.

So, Who Will Play The Super Bowl Halftime Show In 2024?

The Super Bowl is not only the biggest event every year in the sporting world, it's also the biggest entertainment event. Even though the Halftime show is under 15 minutes, it is talked about for months in advance. And if the performance is successful, it'll be talked about for years afterward (and also be the subject of memes: we miss you, Left Shark!). Only the biggest names in music have had the honor to grace the stage: Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Aerosmith, NSYNC, Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, the Who, Prince, The Black Eyed Peas, Madonna, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry and The Weeknd.

Last year's Super Bowl LVI show took place in Inglewood, California's SoFi Stadium and featured California hip-hop legends Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg with Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, 50 Cent and Anderson .Paak. This year, we now know that Rihanna is making her return to music by headlining the show. But that doesn't mean it's too early to talk about who might take the stage for Super Bowl LVIII.  Check out our predictions below.
