Shelter Cats Are Learning To High Five To Get Adopted
Let me say I absolutely love this. Anything that increases a shelter animal’s chances of getting adopted is just wonderful. Jackson Galaxy who hosts the tv show ‘My Cat From Hell” is behind this with the project known as Cat Pawsitive. The goal is to help cats maintain their social skills while they wait to be adopted. And what’s more social that a cat high five?

When cats go to shelters they can become nervous and shut down or even bored. By keeping them social, their odds of getting adopted increase.
I hope this program is done locally. I could spend a day high fiving cats.
