We’re almost half way through November which means… it’s almost time for Christmas!

I don’t know about you, but I am ready to put up the Christmas tree, wear matching pajamas with my loved ones, watch Christmas movies on repeat and drink hot chocolate (yes, even in Florida).

If you’re planning to participate in a few holiday festivities, we’ve put together a list with all of the events happening over the next few weeks here in Southwest Florida!

• Naples- Christmas Walk and Tree Lighting Ceremony

  5th Avenue South will be hosting the 48th annual Christmas Walk and Tree Lighting Ceremony! This will be a 2 day event on Friday, December 3rd and Saturday, December 4th! This signature holiday event will feature live music, live art performances, festive food offerings, and activities for all ages!

  2 Day Event!
  – Friday, December 3rd from 5-10 p.m.
  – Saturday, December 4th from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

  Free to attend!
  *Lighting of the tree will be approximately 6:30pm on Friday, December 3rd.

• Naples- Christmas Parade

  The Naples Christmas Parade is set to return this year!!! Bring your chairs and Christmas Spirit to this much anticipated Christmas event! There will be floats, fire engines, school groups, bands, dance troupes, boy and girl scouts and civic groups! Santa and Mrs. Claus will be making a special appearance to conclude the parade.

• Naples- Christmas Tree Lighting & Holiday Cirque Experience

  Mercato kicks off the holiday season with the lighting of the largest REAL tree in Southwest Florida!

• Naples- Holiday Dance Performances at Mercato

  Get into the holiday sprit with performances from local dance troops on the Mercato event lawn!

• Naples- Christmas Glow Run 5k

  Run on paths lined with thousands of lights and dozens of lighted characters! Add to the excitement and fun by running or walking with glowing decorations. A true glow run and walk where participants help to decorate beautiful Lake Avalon with their shining movements as they compete in the professionally chip timed 5K.

• Naples- Estates Winterfest Holiday Walk

  Come see Santa and walk through their mobile themed floats and displays at the CCSO Golden Gate Estates family fun night.

• Fort Myers- The Burroughs Home & Gardens Holiday House

  The Burroughs and Langford-Kingston homes are both gloriously decorated for the holidays every December. Holiday House is open nightly for two weeks before Christmas, from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at the corner of First Street & Fowler in downtown Fort Myers, Florida.

• Fort Myers- 4th Annual Tree Lighting

  Join Gulf Coast Town Center in the West Village for A Broadway Style Variety Show SPECTACULAR!

• Fort Myers- Santa's Block Party at The Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center!

  Join Santa for fun, food, and holiday festivities! On Saturday, December 4th, Santa’s Block Party offers workshops from 10 AM- 2 PM where kids can make arts, crafts, and holiday cards, and decorate their very own cookie from Publix! The Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center is located at 2301 First St. in the historic downtown Fort Myers River District.
