All moms are different. But one thing they all seem to have in common is that they love their kids and love spending time with them. Especially if they are grown. Sometimes the gift of time is the best gift of all. It’s something we never seem to have enough of.

You don’t have to give a gift that is over the top. Just show up. Give mom a hug. Sit and have a conversation with her. Share a bottle of wine. And if she isn’t close by, pick up the phone or schedule a video chat.

If you are lucky enough to have your mom with you, don’t let the moment pass. Life is short. It is fragile.
