Florida is a great place to live. It sure is quirky. But that is part of its charm. Social media always has some crazy story about Floridians. In addition, people who visit from other parts of the country are often taken aback by our weather, our insects and creatures, and lots more. At least one Southwest Florida TikTok user has had great success trying to explain Florida with his funny and unique videos. Here is some of his so-called Florida Man humor to make you laugh for TikTok Tuesday.
I’ve been following Josh Robinson, AKA omgitswicks, for some time now and I always get a kick out of his characterization of Floridians and how he turns everything from humidity and hurricanes, to mosquitos, into characters for his videos. He is a Southwest Florida native. He gets it, gets us. Robinson is always eating something from the Publix deli in his videos. Another famous prop is his old school flip phone that he allegedly uses to catch the crazy that often times defines Florida. Whatever he is doing works. He has more than 295,000 followers.
Here is a good example of how he tackles the ever changing and every challenging weather we have in Southwest Florida.

If you are on TikTok, you should follow too. However, you do not need a TikTok account to watch these videos that I’ve assembled. We’ll use mine. All you have to do is scroll down and then hit play. They are all office friendly. They are also fun to share with your with your “northern” and “midwestern” friends. If you live in Florida, you will relate, and get a kick out of these videos. There were so many to share that it was hard for me to pick just five.
