Just in time for your weekend festivities, you might be looking for some Halloween cocktail recipes for some boo-zy fun. We have a few ideas. In addition, there is at least one wine brand that screams Halloween, Chronic Cellars.

These wines have character both in the name and what’s in the bottle. Their eye-catching labels are hand carved from artist Chris Granillo. He was inspired by Mexican artists who showcase skulls and skeletons having a good time despite hardships. It kind of reminds me of what is happening in Southwest Florida right now.

I love the fact that the folks at Chronic Cellars also love music.

Chronic Cellars Purple Paradise The winery put together a Purple Paradise Playlist full of Halloween appropriate tunes to match their red wine blend of the same name, Purple Paradise. This is not only a fun Halloween wine but it’s good too, mostly zinfandel but also petite sirah, grenache and syrah. This is perfect for your steak tacos and pizza. $16.99

Sir Real’s Horror Flick List

Chronic Cellars also makes a cabernet sauvignon called  Sir Real. It has lots of dark fruit and  tobacco flavors. If you’re serving burgers, oooo blue cheese burgers, this is going to be perfect.

For this wine, Chronic Cellars put together a movie list. They say, “Sir Real is the horror movie film buff you want at your Halloween party. He knows all the creepy cinema, the “slashics”, and the so-bad-they’re-good spooky flicks. If you want to throw a party that becomes a cult classic too, make sure to bring a bottle of Sir Real and his frightening reels. Letterboxd Movie List”
