Red Carpet events are my favorite place to get inspiration. I look at these dresses and picture myself going to certain places, Don’t you? A girl can dream, can’t she? The Met Gala though is a place of Couture wear. The dresses are so far out there you can’t even imagine what kind of event you would wear these looks to. I pride myself on a great imagination and yes I picture myself even at the Met Gala rocking these beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces.
According to Vogue,
The Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, A-list celebrities descended upon the red carpet in celebration of the museum’s new exhibition, “In America: An Anthology of Fashion,” which will serve as an exploration of American fashion. The display will be presented across 13 of the American period rooms in the museum, and feature design works from Bill Blass, Brooks Brothers, Lloyd Kiva New, and more. On the red carpet, meanwhile, well-clad stars will do their best to take on the Gilded Glamour, White Tie dress code, where they have been encouraged to approach late 19th-century clothing through a modern lens.
