Here are your Weekend Vibes, what’s happening in Southwest Florida March 31-April-2. It’s  April Fool’s weekend. Do you like to pull pranks? Or perhaps you are always the one that gets duped. Either way, don’t take everything at face value this weekend, just in case. We promise, no pranks here. All of these events really are happening.

This weekend

Yes even the reptile convention listed below is real. Hope snakes don’t make you squeamish. If they don’t, this is where you need to be. Some people and places are also breaking the seal on Easter activities. Easter isn’t until the 9th but we certainly don’t  have to wait until then to look for eggs and eat our chocolate bunnies.

Sadly, for some, Baseball’s Spring Training is officially over. The regular season kicked off Thursday. You may already be seeing a difference in traffic in some areas. Finally, it’s a big weekend for Big Arts on Sanibel Island. The theater and event space opens for the fist time since Hurricane Ian. The show features a Queen tribute band. More below.

Speaking of the storm, it’s been 6-months since Hurricane Ian hit. Hard to imagine. We understand things are still challenging for many many people. If you feel like getting out and about, we have a few ideas here. But then again, if you are not feeling so great mentally that is OK. Please take care of yourself. Here are some resources that might help.

In the meantime, here are your Weekend Vibes, what’s happening in Southwest Florida March 31-April-2.
