Here are your Weekend Vibes, What’s Happening In Southwest Florida Nov 18-20.  As we get ready for Thanksgiving, there are numerous events that involve giving back. In addition, many of these weekend events have a fundraising arm that contributes to Hurricane Ian Recovery.

Power boats

Power boat racing is on this weekend in Englewood.

We have lots of water problems in Southwest Florida following the storm, However, officials say they have worked tirelessly to make sure the waters are safe and clear from debris so the OPA power boat races can take place in Englewood.

Music heals and it is being used as a vessel to do just that this weekend. Several concert events are on the calendar, to benefit a variety of people and businesses that have been sidelined by the hurricane.

However, numerous events have been canceled or postponed in wake of Hurricane Ian. Find out which ones by clicking here. Don’t forget that events on your calendar and even those listed here can always change. We are living in a very fluid world post Ian. It never hurts to call ahead or even check the social media sites related to these events to confirm.

Finally, if you have the means, the energy, and the desire to do so, please support the local businesses that are up and running again. And perhaps some of these events will help you if you are looking for a place to give back. Finally, if you have any additional events to share, email them to me here.
