These days, it seems like a lot of people are on edge with all that’s going on right now. We should definitely look into releasing our stress. Avoid conflicts like this one mom in Cape Coral Angel Harrell, 19, is facing charges of battery and burglary following the incident on the school bus at Hancock Bridge Parkway and NE 8th Place in Cape Coral.

According to NBC 2

When officers spoke with Harrell, she said she was at home when she got a call about someone on the school bus. It’s unclear what the issue was, but it prompted Harrell to get in her car and track down the bus.

She hopped out of her car and ran up to the bus.

Harrell admitted to forcing the doors open and making demands of the driver. She said that she heard kids crying,, so she grabbed the driver’s wrists and told the kids who wanted to, to get off the bus.

Harrell said she was going to punch the driver but “decided not to,” according to the arrest report.

She said she ripped the radio out of the driver’s hand and that she felt the bus driver needed to let all the kids off the bus.

Harrell reportedly forced the bus’ doors open again and held them open while multiple kids got off the bus at the busy intersection.

Harrell was arrested by Cape Coral police and a report with the Department of Children and Families will be completed, the arrest report noted.

My concern is for the children that were on this bus. If you are the parent of the ones that were on, there it is important to talk to them and make sure they are ok. This situation can be very traumatic and we need to stay on top of the conversation of aggression, especially in these times.
