A Female Indiana Jones?
HARRISON FORD is turning 76 this year, and STEVEN SPIELBERG admits that the upcoming fifth “Indiana Jones” movie will probably be Harrison’s last.
It doesn’t begin filming until next year, and it won’t come out until July of 2020 . . . just days before Harrison’s 78th birthday.
But Spielberg DOES expect the franchise to continue . . . and even though it might upset some fans, he’d like to see the character take on a “different form” . . . as in a
FEMALE form.
He says, quote, “We’d have to change the name from Jones to Joan. And there’d be nothing wrong with that.”
TheRinger.com came up with a few actresses who’d be good as Indiana ‘Joan’ . . . including Saoirse Ronan, Gina Rodriguez, Carrie Coon from “The Leftovers”, and Zhang Ziyi from “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”.
