Inside Beyonce and Jay-Z’s Billion Dollar Empire
In case you didn’t know Beyonce and JAY-Z are worth over a BILLION dollars. They reached the milestone in 2017 and now its estimated that the couple has a combined wealth of over $1.25 billion.
So how did they get uber-rich?
Both Beyonce and JAY-Z are known for their music and they’ve made a lot of money with it, Beyonce made an estimated $4.3 million in 2016 and in 2017 JAY-Z made $3 million, but it’s not what is making them billionaires.
The couple owns Tidal the music streaming service that JAY-Z purchased in 2015 for $56 million, now its worth $600 million after selling 33 percent of the company to Sprint.
Roc Nation also brings the Carters some serious bank, in 2017 the company had 33 clients and has $906 million in contracts, Roc Nation accounts for most of JAY-Z’s fortune.
Touring, endorsements and movies make up for the remaining portion of the couple’s fortune.
