Principal Stole $900 From Mentally Handicapped 9-year-old
Pasco County: Deputies arrested Connerton Elementary School principal Edward John Abernathy after he stole from a 9-year-old student!
The child who is mentally handicapped found his parents money at their house a brought it to school to show the teacher. The teacher counted $2,100 and turned it into the principle then called the parents. When the mother of the child went to school to get the money the principle only handed over $1,200 and kept $900 for himself.
The principle has been placed on administrative leave as they investigate.
