A Twitter account named Music News Fact tweeted that "with 2 million views, the 2019 BET Awards was the shows LOWEST ratings ever."
Minaj retweeted the tweet and commented, "When u go out of ur way to b spiteful & hurt artists who have always supported ur show... when you fire great ppl who have put their heart & soul into the show... when you’d rather be a messy reality show than a prestigious award show... when ur still being dragged by that lace."
Of course, Minaj's barbs had to chime in. Check out some of the "Megatron" rapper's fans' responses below.
Although many of Nicki Minaj's fans sided with their "queen," others thought that the show was actually pretty good.
"But it was one of the best shows in a long time," one Instagram user wrote, while another reflected the same sentiment, "That was one of the best award shows they have in the past few years but yeah make it about you. Not about HER's amazing performance. Tyler Perry's great speech, the Exonerated Five, Mary J Blige KILLING it at 48. No about your bitter a**."
"She bitter cause Cardi winning. Stfu b**ch. BET kissed your a** for nearly a decade," another fan of the award show wrote.
