The people of Japan aren't happy with Kim Kardashian and her new shapewear line "Kimono."

Many Japanese took to social media to air out their displeasure with the brand saying that her choice of the word "kimono" for her shapewear line is theft of Japanese culture and an insult to the Japanese robe of the same name.

"Kimono is not underwear! Stop trademark registration! Don't make the word kimono yours," wrote a Twitter user with many others sharing the same type of sentiment.

While many don't like the name of Kim's new shapewear there was one that looked on the bright side, one 71-year-old woman thought the brand name could bring more publicity for the kimono robe.

What do you think of the name of Kim Kardashian's shapewear? Should she have named the shapewear something different?
