Tom Holland Won’t be Spider-Man in “Spider-Man: Freshman Year”
It Looks like Tom Holland Won’t be Spider-Man For Disney+ Series “Spider-Man: Freshman Year.”
Just one day after reports of Tom Holland’s departure from the Spider-Man: Freshman Year Disney+ series came to light, The Illuminerdi has published a report saying that the Hollywood heartthrob will not be providing any voice acting for the show. It’s still unknown who will be voicing Peter Parker/Spider-Man for the show.
The New Disney+ Series:
Spider-Man Freshman Year will tell us what Peter Parker was like before he entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Tom Holland, who stars as the web-slinger in Spider-Man: Homecoming and its sequels, won’t lend his voice to the project, leading some fans to wonder if he’ll remain a part of the MCU. But don’t worry true believers. This wouldn’t be the first time Marvel has swapped actors for the role of everyone’s favorite web head in an animated series..
In the animated series What If… Tom Holland was not cast as the voice of Spider-Man / Peter Parker; instead actor and singer Hudson Thames took over the role in the animated adaptation. So don’t believe reports or speculations that Holland won’t return to the MCU. Tom Holland as your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is here to stay.
