Hasbro and 3-D printing company Materialise will sell custom action figures based off your selfies this year. They're doing it with characters from Ghostbusters, G.I. Joe, Power Rangers, and Marvel movies.

Attention 40-Year-Old Virgins

Imagine if in the movie The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Steve Carell's character had been able to get a customized action figure of himself—one that looked like he did when he was younger. Well that's exactly what Hasbro is doing this fall with a 3D printing company. I know i 'll be first in line to get my very own custom Budman figure.  I wonder what kind of accessories come with it?

Hasbro says that they're going to let you customize your own action figures so they look like YOU.  And they're selling them for Christmas this year.

Powered by Selfies

They're calling it their "Selfie Series," and if you wanna get one for yourself OF yourself,  its going to run you about $60. You just send them a selfie, and they put your face on the action figure of your choice. They're doing it with a bunch of different movie and TV franchises. The ones they've announced so far are Star Wars, Ghostbusters, G.l. Joe, Power Rangers, Spider-Man and Black Widow.
They aren't taking pre-orders yet, but you can sign up to be notified when they do at HasbroPulse.com.
