Dr. Dre’s Responds To Wife’s Divorce Petition, And Reveals There Was A Prenup
As we reported, Nicole Young, Dr. Dre’s wife, filed for divorce in June. Since then, Dr. Dre has responded to her divorce petition and revealed a critical piece of information about their separation.
According to TMZ, the pair had a prenuptial agreement, but Nicole did not mention one in her petition. “Dre’s wife, Nicole, is asking for spousal support and a division of property. Dre says in his answer, filed by Disso Queen Laura Wasser, that he’s fine paying Nicole spousal support, but he says any distribution of property should be governed by their prenuptial agreement.”
The outlet adds that Dr. Dre is estimated to be worth $800 million.
Dr. Dre and Nicole Young have been married since 1996.
