Rihanna And LVMH Are Shutting Down The Fenty Clothing Line

The COVID-19 pandemic is taking its toll on another company. The Daily Beast reports that Rihanna and LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE) will temporarily pause the Fenty fashion label.

The line is relatively new; it debuted in 2019 but has suffered because of the coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement, the company says, "Rihanna and LVMH have jointly made the decision to put on hold the RTW activity, based in Europe, pending better conditions.”

This development will not affect Rihanna's other businesses, Savage X Fenty lingerie or Fenty Beauty. LVMH adds that they want to concentrate on developing  Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin.
