Babcock Ranch Is Getting New Storm Shelter
It’s that time of year again, hurricane season! And Babcock Ranch is getting a new storm shelter.
According to NBC 2, Babcock Ranch is getting a new storm shelter and it’s going to be within it’s high school. Construction on the shelter has already begun in Charlotte County. It will be ready by next summer and will be able to fit 1,300 people in the 40,000 square foot building.
This is good news! Glad that it will be ready by the next hurricane season and will be a great addition to SWFL to keep everybody safe.
