Are You Ready for ‘Just Add Water’ Powdered Milk Cereal from Kellogg’s?
Are You Ready for some ‘Just Add Water’ Powdered Milk Cereal from Kellogg’s?
I’m not so sure that this sounds Grrreat?!
Insta-Bowls are innovative single-serve cereal cups from Kellogg’s that only need water to be added. Wait… All you need is water? What sort of sorcery is this? I don’t mean the innovation itself. I mean they’re actually going to get people to buy this?!
At the bottom is powdered milk. To make it liquid, you fill each one halfway with cold water.
They’re testing them out at a few Walmart locations and intend to launch a nationwide online sales campaign soon.
According to CNN, each bowl runs about $2 bucks, which is significantly more than what you’d pay for a bowl at home. I guess that’s what you gotta pay for the on-the-go component. Ya know because pouring the milk yourself is a lot of work.
Kellogg's wants you to add water to its new cereal. Really. https://t.co/0PuQ8zK8RP

Powdered milk has been around since the 1800s, so it’s not clear why they’ve been sitting on the idea for so long. I’m guessing because we as a society haven’t been stupid enough to pay extra for powdered milk before. Welcome to 2022.
If this sounds good to you then they’ve got four different varieties available, Frosted Flakes, Froot Loops, Apple Jacks, and Raisin Bran Crunch. Go crazy.
