Gisele Bündchen Announces Cookbook Inspired by Family Recipes

Gisele Bündchen is venturing into the food world. The Brazilian supermodel announced on Instagram Wednesday (September 6) that she has written her first cookbook called Nourish. Gisele, 43, shared an image of the book cover and captioned the post: “People are always asking me what I eat and how I stay fit. Great food is something I am passionate about, and it is vital for living a healthy lifestyle.”
“In Nourish,” Gisele continued, “I share my family’s favorite simple, nutritious, and delicious recipes and some self-care rituals that help me so much in my life especially as a busy, working mom. I am happy that I get to share this cookbook with all of you! Hope you enjoy ! Check it out, [it] is now available for preorder and out in March! Link in bio. You can also preorder signed copies.”
According to a description from the publisher, Penguin Random House, Nourish contains 100 “approachable recipes based on everyday ingredients.” The cookbook focuses on kickstarting and maintaining a healthy lifestyle while finding balance and intention. From summer rolls with ginger-cashew dipping sauce to Brazilian cheese bread, the recipes have a wide range of light and hearty options and include tips for making “kid-friendly” dishes. Nourish also includes help on how readers can embrace an intentional lifestyle with their meal planning, setting intentions, and minimizing food waste.
Following her October 2022 divorce from Tom Brady, Bündchen shared on Instagram that she was leaning into her favorite health and wellness practices to help her through the difficult time. “Being healthy is more than a clean diet and exercise. It’s about our attitudes, emotions, beliefs, thoughts and actions,” she captioned her post, which featured a photo of her doing a reverse/peaceful warrior pose on the beach. “When life gets challenging, always remember that the sun rises everyday bringing a new opportunity for us to try again and do better.”

Gisele Bündchen is more than Tom Brady's ex-wife. She is a Brazilian supermodel with a heart of gold. Since 2001, she has been one of the highest-paid models in the entire world. In an October 2022 interview with Elle, Gisele told the publication that she’s done her part in being there for the New England Patriots quarterback. She said at the time, “I moved to Boston, and I focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow up in and to be there supporting him and his dreams. Seeing my children succeed and become the beautiful little humans that they are, seeing him succeed and being fulfilled in his career—it makes me happy. I have a huge list of things that I have to do that I want to do. At 42, I feel more connected with my purpose.”
Growing up in the small rural town of Horizontina, in southern Brazil, Bündchen was always outside. Some of her favorite memories include riding bikes with her five sisters and eating vegetables from her grandmother’s garden. At just 17 years old, she had her breakout moment as a model when she hit Alexander McQueen’s 1998 Spring runway in Milan, Italy, topless, covered only by white paint. Two years later, she became one of Victoria’s Secret’s famous Angels. In 2004, she appeared in Taxi alongside Queen Latifah and Jimmy Fallon, and two years later, she had a minor role in The Devil Wears Prada.
