Florida Santa on Motorcycle, Outruns Cops at 120 MPH
The Florida Santa always knows how to keep the holidays interesting. Over the weekend, a Florida man dressed as Santa Claus decided to trade in his sleigh for a souped-up motorcycle—and a heavy dose of adrenaline. Let’s just say this wasn’t your jolly ol’ St. Nick spreading holiday cheer.
According to WFTS, on Saturday night, around 9 p.m., the Florida Highway Patrol spotted a white motorcycle with blue trim zooming down County Road 486. Behind the handlebars? None other than a guy decked out in a full Santa suit, riding like he had somewhere very important to be. The man was reportedly hitting speeds over 120 mph, weaving through traffic like it was a North Pole obstacle course.
A trooper managed to catch up to him at Brandywine Terrace and gave the universal “pull over” signal. And for a second, it looked like Florida Santa was about to cooperate, pulling into a gas station. But nah, this guy wasn’t ready to check his naughty list just yet. Instead, he gunned it and took off, leaving the trooper—and probably some stunned gas station customers—in his exhaust.
Florida Santa Escapes:
The pursuit didn’t last long, though. By the time they hit County Road 491 and Black Diamond, Florida Santa had vanished into the night, faster than you can say “ho, ho, ho.” The trooper ended the chase, but not before the Florida Highway Patrol gave the internet a show. They even dropped a witty message on social media, hoping someone might recognize this renegade Kris Kringle.
As of now, the Florida Santa is still at large. If you spot a dude rocking a red suit and a need for speed, give the troopers a call. One thing’s for sure… This year, this Florida Santa’s making the “naughty” list.
