2025 is less than a week away and here are 5 places to see fireworks on New Year’s Eve in Southwest Florida.
I just love the holiday season and it all comes and goes so quick. New Year’s Eve is just days away and every year at this time I find myself going back and forth on what to do. Go in, watch the countdown on TV and enjoy the fireworks the neighbors set off. Or get dressed up and head out for a celebration with others. If you are looking to go out, throughout Southwest Florida, there are plenty of places to enjoy fireworks, and I put together a list of 5 places to see them on New Year’s Eve.
5 Places To See Fireworks On New Year’s Eve In Southwest Florida
- Downtown Fort Myers Countdown: If you’re looking for a huge street party, this is the spot for you. There will food trucks, live music on several stages from bands including Chasing Denver, Smack Daddy, Downtown Ross Brown and more. The party starts at 6pm, with a midnight ball drop and fireworks.
- Davis Art Center Rooftop Celebration: I haven’t yet been to the Art Center, but every party they throw looks incredible. This is sure to make for a fun night with a sparkling wine toast, open bar, hors d’oeuvres, live music and fireworks at midnight. To make a reservation, call 239-333-1933.
- Cape Coral New Year’s Eve Celebration: This event, starting at 6pm, is hosted by the City of Cape Coral in South Cape on 47th Terrace. This celebration is family-friendly with 2 ball drops at 8pm and midnight. There will be live music, food vendors, fireworks and more.
- Fort Myers Beach New Year’s Eve Celebration: What’s better than ringing in the new year on the beach? This New Year’s Eve bash will take place at Bayside Park with a ball drop and fireworks in the Times Square area. Plus, many restaurants will have specials throughout the evening. This free event starts at 6pm.
- New Year’s Eve Black-Tie Gala at The Ritz: The Ritz-Carlton Naples will be hosting a black-tie event that starts at 7:30pm. Tickets start at $500 per person and include a 5-course dinner, live music, a midnight toast, fireworks and more.
