Cape Coral Pub Sub Thieves On The Run
When you’re hungry, there’s nothing like a good sandwich and here in Southwest Florida, Cape Coral Pub sub thieves are on the run.
Publix is a favorite grocery store for many. Even before I moved to Fort Myers, anytime I visited Florida, I would get so excited to go to Publix. There was one on the island near our vacation house on Clearwater Beach, so there might be a bit of nostalgia there for me, but still to this day, there’s just something about Publix I prefer more than any other grocery store. And now they’re remodeling and building fancy Publix’s so they just keep getting better.
And who can deny the deliciousness of a Pub sub? They’re perfect really and can be enjoyed just about anywhere. Lunch at the office, on the beach, on the boat or at home. We all love the Pub sub here in Florida. My favorite is the buffalo chicken wrap. Publix tenders are already the jaw. Then throw some buffalo, ranch and a slew of veggies on there- it’s creme de la creme.
Cape Coral Pub Sub Thieves On The Run
Now I get it. When the craving kicks in for Pub sub, you want it and you want it now. But that doesn’t mean you can bypass the check out line. WFLA reports that police are looking for 2 Cape Coral pub sub thieves that are on the run. According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the pair went to the Publix on Del Prado in Cape Coral on Saturday looking for their online order of 2 turkey subs. When they couldn’t find them, they had the deli worker make 2 more. But then they just walked out with them.
The total of the stolen subs was just over $21. But regardless of the cost, that’s stealing and that doesn’t go over well in the eyes of the law.
Cameras caught the sub stealing duo leaving in a black Ford Explorer and if you have any information, you’re encouraged to call Lee County police at 239-477-1000.
