What Is The TikTok App That’s Suddenly Getting Banned?
If you’re not a part of generation Z you probably have no idea what the TikTok app is.
The app that turns ordinary people into influencers who pair their everyday lives with popular music or movie monologues is getting banned in countries like India and Indonesia. The countries say the app is “inappropriate for children” and “promotes pornography.” In India you can no longer download the app, however, existing users can still access the app. Social media platforms are getting better at protecting children, YouTube recently disabled comments on videos created by minors in order to keep predators from contacting them.
Do you think the TikTok app is inappropriate for minors? Do you monitor your child’s social media?
