Frozen 2 had an incredible opening over the weekend, raking in $127 million domestically and $350 million worldwide.
According to Time, the film broke several records. “It’s the highest-grossing debut ever for any animated film globally. It marks a new high in the U.S. and Canada for an animated movie released outside of the summer season. And it’s the largest opening for any Walt Disney Animation Studios release.”
The first Frozen movie earned $93 million in its first five days of opening, six years ago. It ultimately grossed $1.2 billion.
