Watch Dua Lipa Get Everyone Dancing With ‘Don’t Start Now’ Performance On ‘Ellen’
Dua Lipa turned Ellen DeGeneres’s daytime talk show into an afternoon dance party. Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now” performance on Ellen got everyone moving to the disco breakup anthem.
While Dua Lipa sang about doing a “full 180” after a breakup, this performance allowed her to do a few 360-degree spins and some other very cool moves. Joined by a troupe of female backup dancers all in white, Lipa led the group for this well-choreographed performance.
Dua Lipa played with the shadows, making it appear as if she had even more dancers onstage. That helped this become even more of a kiss-off to an ex who is trying to worm his way back into her life. “Did the heartbreak change me?” Lipa asks. “Maybe. But look at where I ended up.”
From the looks of her Ellen performance, it appears she’s doing just fine.
Lipa’s upcoming sophomore studio album, Future Nostalgia, is set to drop this year.
