Piers Morgan: ‘Sharon Osbourne Has Been Bullied’
Piers Morgan says that Sharon Osbourne’s co-hosts on The Talk bullied her into posting a lengthy message to Instagram where she apologized to anyone of color who she offended by . @piersmorgan I am with you. I stand by you. People forget that you’re paid for your opinion and that you’re just speaking your truth.
His tweet reads: “Sharon’s been shamed & bullied into apologising for defending me against colleagues accusing me of racism because I don’t believe Meghan Markle’s bulls—.” He goes on to demand an apology from the hosts of The Talk “for their disgraceful slurs against ME.”
Sharon's been shamed & bullied into apologising for defending me against colleagues accusing me of racism because I don't believe Meghan Markle's bullsh*t.

This is where we've reached.
I demand an apology from those @TheTalkCBS bullies for their disgraceful slurs against ME. https://t.co/kguRA8KVPJ
Some of the comments responding to Osbourne’s tweet defending Morgan:
I may not agree with what you say, sir, but I will defend to the death your right to call someone who said they felt suicidal a liar on national television

his truth is calling a suicidal woman a liar after harassing her in the press for years Sharon. how proud are you to stand in that truth?

Sometimes someone's truth is that they are a massive misogynistic bellend that rubbishes people's suicidal thoughts, and that is so beautiful Sharon, that you are standing by that.

I work in mental health. Suicide, and thoughts of it, are always serious. Ignoring this leads to death. Preventable, tragic and regrettable death. The loss of a father, son, daughter, mother. A job can be replaced. A life cannot. Imagine it was someone you love.

Freedom of speech is not freedom from consequences.

Being a bigoted bully might be acceptable in your circle, but millions of us are appalled by it.
I'm just speaking my truth

While Osbourne defended her friend Morgan on The Talk, co-host Sheryl Underwood pointed out to Osbourne that “You’re standing by your friend. It appears that you give safe haven to something that he has uttered that is racist.” A flustered Osbourne responded by saying she felt like she was about to be put “in an electric chair.”
