Airbnb Cracking Down On New Year’s Eve Parties Airbnb is cracking down on users trying to dodge the rules and throw a New Year’s Eve bash.
The rental platform – which bans large gatherings – announced last month that it would restrict users from booking a one-night rental on Dec. 31st – limiting them to users with a “history of positive reviews”.
Now it’s tightening things up even further – restricting two and three-night bookings as well. The company forbids gatherings of more than 16 people at all of its listings, to avoid renting “chronic party houses”
What are your New Year’s plans? Will you be partying like it’s 2022, or staying at home and watching the ball drop from afar?
