Florida Deputies Arrest Pet Pig
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies apprehended a suspect that was both a criminal and a cutie.
On January 3rd, deputies were called to a neighborhood in the Northdale area, where they were told that a pig was spotted running loose through yards. Deputy Chad Berona and Deputy Austin Dale bravely tracked down the elusive piggy (who was later revealed to be named Princesa). They carefully approached the pig and quickly found out she was a friendly little girl. Before bringing her into custody they gave Princesa some much-deserved belly rubs. It’s not every day that you get to arrest an adorable animal, but these deputies were more than up to the task.
Body camera footage showed Deputy Berona carrying the squealing, squirming suspect to the patrol vehicle. Deputy Dale snapped some epic mugshots to document the unusual “arrest”.
After Princesa was safely locked up, Deputy Dale joked “We got one pig in custody.” And it wasn’t long before the deputies found the pig’s owner. Deputy Berona told
WFLA “It feels really good to be able to find the owner that quickly and to see the joy in getting reunited with her pet.”
Looks like the only thing this porker is guilty of is being too cute for her own good!
