Shopper Attacked at Florida Goodwill Store Over Service Dog
Wow. Let me tell you about this incident that happened at a Florida Goodwill store. So there was this 77-year-old lady named Jaqueline James who allegedly got into a bit of a situation with a shopper’s service dog hanging out in one of the aisles. While some people look for treasures, this lady may have been searching for trouble.
Now here’s where things get interesting. According to FOX35, James didn’t just quietly express her displeasure with the dog. This lady actually went up to the woman with the pooch to address the issue directly.. When the manager intervened to try and calm things down, James didn’t handle it well at all. She ended up knocking the womans shopping basket out of her hand pulling her hair and pushing her against the wall. Whoa there grandma!
But wait, it doesn’t stop there. James then took it further by pushing the woman to the ground and causing some harm to her hip in the process. Can you imagine how chaotic it must have been? Someone had to call 911 to deal with all that commotion. All because Jacqueline is acting like a crazed Karen inside a Florida Goodwill store!
When the police arrived on scene James had already come up with her side of the story. She claimed that the woman had swung her basket at her face first, which led to things escalating quickly. It’s like a case of shifting blame, don’t you think? Hey, guess what? This Florida Goodwill store had security camera footage, and revealed it’s story. It captured James being touchy feely while the other woman was just trying to push him. What a mess!
To cut it short, James found herself heading straight to jail for committing aggravated battery. Moral of the story; steer clear of service dogs when inside a Florida Goodwill Store. Maybe also try to avoid getting into altercations over them.
