Brawl Erupts at Cleveland Heights Golf Course in Lakeland Florida Over Slow Play
It appears a brawl went down at the Cleveland Heights Golf Course in Lakeland, Florida earlier this week. Mentions on the post say that the event did indeed happen at that course in Lakeland.
Now, no one wants to be known as a slow golfer. But some are just out looking for a good time and maybe aren’t up to the skill level of others. And some of those take an afternoon of golf way too seriously.
Listening to the audio (and be careful of the language if the kids are around), there’s accusations of slow play. You can hear one say “It’s the people in front of us, we can’t go any faster.” A push, and a very awkward kick started things off. Again, language warning on this one.
I don’t agree with the caption, I don’t think this was caused by making golf cheaper to appeal to more people. I think this was drinking and stupidity that caused this fight. “These guys been hitting ** golf balls into us all day long.” The big move of the day goes to the guy who walked away when the other went to the ground. He could have unleashed on him UFC style, but instead realized it was best to walk away. Stay classy, Lakeland. And keep that behavior out of Southwest Florida.
The Price of a Hot Dog at Every Major League Baseball Stadium in 2023
One of my favorite things about spring is the start of the baseball season and all that great ballpark food. If you’re heading to a game this season in Miami, Tampa or even out of the state of Florida, here’s the price of a hot dog at every Major League Baseball stadium in 2023.
The crack of the bat, the roar of the crowd, the smell of hot dogs and popcorn in the air – there’s nothing quite like a day at the baseball stadium. I used to live right on the Illinois/Wisconsin border, so it was a prime location for baseball. It was about an hour to Milwaukee to see the Brewers. It was just a little longer to Chicago to see the Cubs (and the Sox too, but Go Cubbies!) Now, living in Fort Myers, it’s about a 2-hour drive to the closest stadium.
I don’t know what it is about a beer at the ballpark, but they just hit different. And so do the hot dogs! I don’t know what it is about them, but there’s nothing better. Is it the actual hot dog itself? The bun that gets extra steamy soft after being wrapped in the tin foil? Is there a secret ingredient in the condiments? Whatever it is, I am definitely that girl who is like a kid on Christmas morning, except instead of presents, I’m excited about processed meat in a bun. Just pure joy found in a ballpark dog.
Whether you’re heading locally to a game, or taking a trip out of town, you may wonder about concession prices and how much it’ll cost ya. That’s where we turn to nj.bet who did the research on all things MLB. If they got to taste-test the hot dogs on their journey, I’m officially jealous.
