Inebriated Florida Man Arrested Drinking A Can Of ‘Florida Man’ Beer
Oh the Florida Man! A drunk, 39-year old Largo man, Seth Thomas, was arrested earlier this week while enjoying a nice cold beverage, ironically named, ‘Florida Man’. This gives new meaning to you are what you eat (drink).
According to the police report obtained by The Smoking Gun, Thomas was arrested in Pinellas County. In the police report, it’s noted he was arrested for drinking an alcoholic beverage in a public place and causing a public disturbance.
Apparently, he was seen yelling at traffic with the can of ‘Florida Man’ in hand, walking in the roadway and refusing requests to stop.
Cigar City Brewing out of Tampa is home to the Florida Man Double India Pale Ale.
So, now I’m wondering if Cigar City Brewing will want to use him as the face of their beer? I mean that mugshot is pretty darn appealing. They might have him to thank for drumming up some new business. How can I go to Tampa in a few weeks and not stop in to try this for myself? I’m sure others will feel the same way. Any press is good press, right?
Seth Thomas was released from the Pinellas County jail for his misdemeanor charge, after posting his $100 bond. Thomas is no stranger to the clink either. His rap sheet includes obstructing police, trespassing, possession of open alcohol, and disorderly intoxication.
The Top Hard Seltzers For Summer 2023
Demand is increasing for top hard seltzers. We’re already hitting near record temperatures in Southwest Florida. Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Naples – it’s hot! Even looking at the bottom of my computer screen:

So cooling off with a hard seltzer is a pretty solid choice. I’ve got some of the Mike’s in my fridge. Diana prefers the Corona ones. So with data provided by YouGov, we’re able to list the 20 most popular hard seltzers in the county.
Before we get to the rankings, there is a new seltzer that has caught my eye. They just dropped it this spring so it didn’t make the rankings, but High Noon now has a Tequila Seltzer. They make it with real tequila and fruit juice and it comes in lime, grapefruit, passionfruit, and strawberry. I have to say, as a fan of tequila, and that song by Joe Nichols, I am interested.
