Popular Daytime TV Gameshow ‘The Price Is Right’ Coming To An End For Now
Growing up I was a fan of daytime television. The infamous words, “Come On Down”, are definitely ones that stuck in my brain. After 51 years of taping at the historic Bob Barker Studio 33 at Television City, “The Price Is Right” taped it’s final episode.
The Price Is Right Final Episode
Don’t worry, “The Price is Right” is not leaving the popular CBS network. It’s just finding a new home a bit north of it’s current location. Currently, the show is taped at Television City in California.
However, season 52 of the show will be produced in a new studio in Glendale, CA. The new studio is located in a neighborhood in northeast Los Angeles. The popular game show is set to return this September.
The Last Episode
During the final taping, lucky contestants played many classic fan favorite games, but on a larger scale. Along with host Drew Carey and announcer George Gray, all six of the show models appeared.
“I used to tell people there was magic in the wood here because of all the good vibes that have been in this studio, all the laughs and all the fun” said host Drew Carey, on Instagram.
