If you enjoy traveling like I do, you know that the more options there are for flights, the better and Spirit Airlines is adding a new nonstop flight out of RSW in Fort Myers.
When it comes to air travel, we’re pretty lucky to have many airports to choose from not too far from us in Fort Myers. Between RSW and airports like Sarasota, Tampa, Miami and Fort Lauderdale just a few hours drive away, you can get just about anywhere. I try to fly out of Fort Myers as much as possible, because to me, there is nothing better than convenience. The parking is cheap, or if you don’t want to park, an Uber isn’t too pricy. I’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes to get through TSA. And of course, when you return, nothing beats just a 20 minute drive home.
But there’s not always the options that larger airports have to offer. However, if you travel regularly to North Carolina, Spirit Airlines is adding a new nonstop flight out of RSW in Fort Myers.
Spirit Airlines Adding A New Nonstop Flight Out Of RSW In Fort Myers
Any time I’m planning a flight, before I even look at the price, I look at how many stops there are or if I can fly direct. I try to avoid layovers as much as possible, but sometimes, especially out of RSW in Fort Myers, it’s necessary depending on where you’re going. But if you are one that travels regularly to North Carolina or has a one-off trip there coming up, there will soon be a new nonstop flight on Spirit Airlines to Charlotte. According to WCNC, starting on March 5, 2025, Spirit will be flying daily, nonstop to Charlotte from RSW.
This is just one of the many announcements the airline has made. There are also some new options to choose from when booking on Spirit. Not only new to the airline are no change or cancellation fees, but also some new tier options from Go Big (the top tier) to Go Comfy to Go Savvy and Go.
