Excavator Joyride Leads to DUI Arrest for Florida Man
It was just another day at a Florida scrap yard, when suddenly, there was a 62-year-old man named John Kastner rolling around in an excavator, and he’s drunk! Oh, yes. That’s an excavator, not a car, but heavy machinery. Apparently, he got into a verbal dispute and started making threats. Now many of us have done some pretty stupid things while under the influence. I bet jumping into one of these things isn’t one of them.
According to WKMG, Flagler County deputies got the call about the situation and showed up at the scene, probably expecting to deal with a loudmouth, but nope, there’s Kastner, joyriding an excavator. You’d think this guy would know better at 62, but nah, he’s out there handling those big machines drunk as a skunk. The police described him as “with impaired faculties” but let’s be honest… My man was wasted. He seemed to be having a good time at least. It was like he was playing bumper cars after taking too many shots. The deputies however, doing what they do best, arrested Kastner for DUI.
Excavator Arrest:
Now, normally, we hear about people getting DUIs in cars or trucks. But let this be a reminder that you don’t drink and operate anything… Excavators included. It’s not clear what exactly caused Kastner’s rage or who he was threatening, but one thing’s for sure is booze and heavy machinery don’t really mix.
Moral of the story? If you’re drunk, don’t even think about hopping into a machine that can take out a whole building. It might seem fun until the cops show up, and you’re looking at DUI charges at age 62. Oh, and no one’s feeling bad for you. But we are laughing.
