Katy Perry and Taylor Swift Finally End Their Feud, Share Cookies
Katy Perry took to social media Tuesday to reveal that she had finally buried the hatchet with her former rival Taylor Swift.
The two have had beef for years with Swift’s hit song “Bad Blood” and Perry’s “Swish, Swish” reportedly documenting the whole thing. But the two are apparently ready to let it all go.
On Tuesday, Perry showed a plate of homemade chocolate chip cookies with the plate decorated with the words “peace at last.”
Perry captioned the post, “Feels good,” Perry captioned the post, tagging Swift and making the location “Let’s Be Friends.”
Last year, Perry was the one to take the initiative to move toward peace. She reportedly surprised Swift on the opening night of her reputation tour by sending her an actual olive branch. Swift created a social media video about it
“So, I just got to my dressing room and found this actual olive branch,” she said in the video. “This means so much to me.”
Perry also sent her a letter that reportedly read, “Hey Old Friend,” where she admitted she had “been doing some reflecting on past miscommunications and hurt feelings.”
Since then, Swift has gone on to add Perry’s song “Never Really Over,” to her Apple playlist back in May.
