Woman Runs 100 Miles on Treadmill in Under 22 Hours for Guinness Record Talk about being an overachiever. Amy Palmiero-Winters just secured her spot as a Guinness World Record holder.
The athlete ran the 100 miles in 21 hours, 43 minutes, 29 seconds. Now she is the first Guinness World Record holder for the fastest 100 miles in a treadmill in a specialized category.
Amy’s left leg was amputated below the knee after a motorcycle crash in 1994, but she is clearly not letting that slow her down.
She talked about her achievement and said, “the strongest part of my body that a person has, my mind, that has led me to where I am, attempting to set an official Guinness World Records title.” If you could set a Guinness World Record, what would you do if for?
