Cape Coral Taco Bell Saves Man From Taco Troll… Also Nacho Fries Are Back!
There I was tossing and turning. I had just taken my only nap of the week. When the craving struck.
I woke up. Opened my eyes and I knew I was in trouble.
You see, it was a Thursday evening. I had completely forgotten about Taco Tuesday this week. The Taco Troll that lives within me had not.
Understand that if you do not FEED the BEAST… The troll will emerge.

The Taco Troll:

This cranky, crunchy taco eating maniac must be stopped. The only defence to subdue the creature, is to act fast. The drive thru. That is my road map to success.
My local Taco Bell is the only place fast enough to obtain the Tacos to satisfy my internal Taco Troll.
I jumped into my car and began my short run to the border.
I can feel the Taco Troll beginning to take over.  Already, I find myself mumbling small annoyances under my breath. Sure, the TV will tell you that you may turn into Joe Pesci when you’re hungry. That’s just a fairy tale.
I wish that i turned into a Good Fella when the cravings start.
Thankfully, Taco Bell was ready for me. The drive thru was empty. I pulled up to order 4 Doritos Locos Taco Supremes. Those will do the trick. It’s kind of like the Black Widow calming the Hulk in the Avengers movies.

“Hey big guy. Sun’s gettin’ real low.”

I was safe once again. The Taco Troll stopped in his tracks by the brave employees of the Bell. I was already having a self celebration when I heard over the speaker. “Would you like Nacho Fries with that?”
OMG. They’re back?!

Nacho Fries Are Back:

 

Why these aren’t available all year long is beyond me. People always become excited when they return.
Nacho Fries are back at Taco Bell for a short period of time starting today.

They also brought them back in March of last year, albeit they didn’t stick around for very long.
A brand-new FANCY version is also available; it includes black truffle hot sauce. For it, they collaborated with the Truff brand of hot sauce.

According to ChewBoom, “Loaded Truff Nacho Fries” is what they are called. Steak, cheese, tomatoes, sour cream, and nacho sauce are added as toppings. Then they cover them in the truffle hot sauce.

They are amazing.

Unfortunately I now have a Truffle Troll to deal with.
