Florida toddler dead after being left in hot car, 50th such death this year
Toddler Dies In Hot Car, The 50th Such Death This Year Another child has died after being left in a hot car, the 50th such death so far this year. Police in Tampa, FL say the 1-year-old girl was left behind in the backseat of a Jeep by her father, who switched cars to leave for work after dropping the other children off at school. She was found unconcious that evening by her parents and later died at the hospital. Tampa Bay police are calling it a “tragic mistake”. It’s the 50th hot-car death in the U.S. this year. Is there a way to prevent this kind of thing from happening? Should the parents face charges?
